Worauf muss ich also achten?

eigentlich müßte durch die gruppen auch ne meldung gegangen sein. denn ich habe die meldung auch von einer yahoogruppe bekommen

There is a new version of Incredimail that came out yesterday, build 2385.
A big tip for all yahoogroup members!!
Don`t use the automatic reply settings!!!
To make a long story short…
Yahoo will change youre settings automatic when you put Automatic reply ON and this will disable youre Yahoo ID so you can`t receive or send any mails to youre yahoo groups!!!
To check youre settings for automatic reply:
Open Incredimail and press Tools
Below Junk Mail you see the new added
\”Automatic Reply Settings\”
Just keep it turned OFF !!!
That`s all you need to do when you belong to a yahoogroup and did download the new build IM 2385!!!

A word of warning:
That new feature called Automatic Reply, don\’t ever turn that on when you belong to a YahooGroup.
If you do,Yahoo will change your status to Auto-responding.
When you are set to Auto-responding, Yahoo disables your Yahoo ID, you will no longer belong to any Groups so you can\’t send or receive from your groups until Yahoo resets your status back to normal.
This can take a from a few hours, up to 48 hours to get off of Auto-responding status once you notify Yahoo about the problem.
Some members of this group have been set to Auto-responding by mistake and know what it\’s like.
Here is an example of what would happen if you had Automatic Reply on in a group, and Yahoo didn\’t change you to Auto-responding.
The Group sends out 200 messages in 24 hours, your Auto Reply would reply to all 200 messages saying you were on vacation, then it would reply to all 200 of your replies, then it would reply to all 200 of those replies. You get the picture.To change the settings so you get your stationery & such like you\’re used to…
Go to your Yahoo groups one at a time and change a setting in the Edit Membership field.1. Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups.
2. Click on a group that you are in to go to the home page of that group.
3. Edit My membership.
4. Change from Fully Featured to Traditional.
5.Save changes!!!Repeat for every group you are in from step one.
This will maintain the current ability to view all IM letters.
If you leave it with the Fully Featured \”new and improved\” setting,
all IM letters will be broken up.REMINDER:When you are bouncing and you reset yourself dont forget to do this all over again whats written above!!!
18. Juni 2006 um 07:01 #132000Uwe-DembskiParticipantDie Angelegenheit ist wirklich kritisch zu beurteilen. Dennoch denke ich, hier ist nicht IM gefordert sondern vielmehr muss Yahoo für Abhilfe sorgen. Der Antritt von IM ist gar nicht
so schlecht automatische Antworten zu generieren, auch wenn ich persönlich der Meinung bin,
so etwas braucht doch kein Mensch… Falls jemand es braucht, o.k.
Wie wäre es, wenn sich Yahoo-Nutzer diesbezüglich mit Yahoo in Verbindung setzen???????Bis bald und viele liebe Grüße

Wenn du Mitglied in einer Yahoo Gruppe bist – aktiviere bitte NIE das
(neue) Feature im aktuellen Incredimal \”Automatische Rückantwort\” !!!Solltest du es aktivieren, stellt Yahoo deinen Account Status auf
\”Auto responder\”.Damit ist deine Yahoo-ID deaktiviert und du kannst weder mails
empfangen noch senden.Es kann auch sein, dass du deine Gruppen nicht mehr in der Liste
findest -also sozusagen kein Mitglied mehr bist.Bis Yahoo den Status \”Auto responder\” wieder rückgängig gemacht hat,
können bis zu 48 Stunden vergehen – und wenn du großes Pech hast, ist
deine email-adresse nicht mehr für die Gruppe nutzbar und du musst
dich komplett neu anmelden.Nicht immer reagiert Yahoo, wenn man um eine Rückstellung des Status bittet.
Dies bedeutet:
Solltest du \”automatische Rückantwort\” aktiviert haben – und Yahoo
stellt deinen Status nicht auf \”Auto Responder\”, antwortet Incredimail
automatisch auf jede email aus deinen Grupppen mit einer

weiteren automatischen Antworten…Du befindest dich damit in einem Kreislauf, der in den meisten Fällen
dazu führen wird, dass deine Yahoo-ID deaktiviert wird!Also: Niemals in ICM \”automatische Rückantwort\” aktivieren!!!
