Pegasus öffnet nicht mehr!

Ich glaube Fortsetzen stand da aber es ging dann alles zu wie schon geschrieben.
Kann nur eine Ferndiagnose machen da es nicht mein Rechner ist und ich erst nächste Woche an das Ding ran komme.

Ich hatte das gleiche Problem und habe über Pegasus Australie \“http://www.pmail.com/downloads.htm\“ weiter : Support , weiter: Search our online knowledge base, weiter bei Search eingeben: Mailbox, dann 5. Artikel auswählen: \“mailbox is locked\“ die richtige Antwort gefunden, und zwar ziemlich am Ende im letzten Absatz von diesem Dokument.
\“In newer releases of Pegasus Mail, the cause of such continuous crashes is usually due to a badly-formatted HTML e-mail message in the new mail folder. For this problem to appear, you have to be using the preview panel mode instead of classic folders mode. This is because the preview panel mode automatically displays the top message (most likely corrupt) in the new mail folder while starting up. To resolve this problem, you need to move all of the .CNM new mail message files out of your mailbox directory (new mailbox location) and then start Pegasus Mail. If Pegasus Mail starts up fine (after clicking the \“Continue\“ button in the locked mailbox dialog), then you can start moving back each .CNM new mail message–one at a time–and pressing Ctrl-W to refresh the new mail folder and select the message to view it. Repeat for each .CNM file. As soon Pegasus Mail crashes, you have found the culprit. Pull that .CNM file back out of the new mail directory and put all of the other .CNM files back into the new mailbox directory and restart Pegasus Mail again. We would greatly appreciate receiving a copy of any such messages that cause Pegasus Mail to crash (please compress the .CNM file with a zip utility like WinZip or PowerArchiver and send it to us (tech-support@pmail.gen.nz) for analysis).\“

Eine der letzten mails, welche Du über Pegasus erhalten hast war korrupt mit Fehler. Du musst über den Windows Explorer in deinen Pagasus Daten deinen Account öffnen und beginne mit der letzten (neuesten) \“ .CNM\“ Datei, die löschen (kannst sie dir vorher mit Wordpad oder Word Viewer anschauen, damit du weist welche mail korrupt war). Danach normal Pegasus starten, falls Meldung nochmal kommt , ignorieren und weiter klicken. Sollte Pegasus wieder abstürzen, dann war es die zweitjüngste .CNM Datei, u.s.w.
Bei mir hat es nach der ersten gelöschten CNM geklappt.
