      Guten Morgen!

      Gestern haben wir das Toolkit gekauft, heruntergeladen und installiert (1 Lizenz).

      Es kommt aber nirgendwo die Möglichkeit den Registrierungscode einzugeben.

      Das Add-in wird in Outlook 2010 als aktiviert angzeigt, in Word 2010 steht es allerdings unter deaktiviert.

      Wie kann es jetzt aktiviert werden, um es zu nutzen?

      Könnte beim Installieren etwas falsch eingegeben worden sein?

      Vor 3 Monaten hatte ich die Testversion auf dem Rechner, funktionierte einwandfrei.

      Mein Rechner hat XP, Service Pack 3.

      Bei mapilab habe ich mehrmals versucht mich zu registrieren. Meldung: Zugriff verweigert.

      Für schnelle Hilfe wäre ich sehr dankbar!!!

          Klappt der  Versand über das Mail Merge Toolkit?

            Laut Mail Merge wird XP weiterhin unterstützt (oder wird nur 2002 unter XP unterstützt? vorher hat es außerdem auch funktioniert)
            Mail Merge Toolkit is fully compatible with:

            • Microsoft Office 2013, 2010, 2007, 2003, 2002/XP;
            • Microsoft Office 365 with desktop Outlook, Word or Publisher versions;
            • Microsoft Windows 8, 7, Vista, 2003, XP;

            @ Mailhilfe: Bei Word ist das Add-in deaktiviert, dadurch wird mir keine Möglichkeit angezeigt das Toolkit zu nutzen. Also kein Versand möglich.

              1) Close Outlook and Word (all instances) –  then, open Task Manager and check that both outlook.exe and winword.exe are not listed under “Processes” tab. If they are – please terminate their respective processes, or log off and log on.

              2) Uninstall current version from your computer through the menu “Start-> Settings-> Control panel-> Programs and Features

              3) Check whether program folder no longer exists under the following path:

              C:\Program Files\MAPILab Ltd\ (Program Files (x86) if you use 32-bit Office with 64-bit Windows)

              If it does – remove this folder manually;

              4) Please download the latest version of Mail Merge Toolkit from our web-site:

              http://www.mapilab.com/files/mail_merge_toolkit.zip

              5) Unzip the package, right-click the setup file relevant to your bit-edition of Office (it could be either 32-bit or 64-bit) – and choose the “Run as Administrator” option.
              a) If your user has administrator privileges, you can install it either “Only for me” or “For all users”.

              b) If you have standard user account – please type in the administrator’s password, and install the software “For everyone who uses this computer (all users)” during the third step of Installation Wizard.

              6) Launch Word and follow all First Start Wizard’s directions.

              7) If the problem will persist after re-installation, please enable the add-in in Word:

              To enable it, please point first to the ‘Disabled Items’ Word menu, mark the add-on and click  the  ‘Enable’ button. After this, point to ‘Com Add-Ins’ and mark the add-in with a tick. The location of this section of the settings is as follows:

              1) File-> Options-> Add-Ins
              2) At the “Manage” dropdown list at the bottom select which type of add-ins you would like to enable/disable
              3) Press “Go…” and make the changes
              4) You might need to restart Word for changes to take effect.

              If it is not listed among Disabled Items – please remove the tick from its check box in COM Add-Ins, click OK, then point back – and put the checkmark. Either add-in option will be added to Word toolbar/ribbon, or you will get an informative notification.

              8) Also, please check that the Mail Merge Toolkit is enabled in Outlook as well.

              You are welcome with further questions and notes.

                Thanks Kathrin, we followed your description step by step and installed the program in my user account which has got administrator rights. But it is still not working. The add-in in Outlook is enabbled, in Word it is still disabled.

                We ticked the box in Word to enable the add-in but when closing and re-opening Word the box is not marked anymore. Please see attached document.

                Also we tried to add the file manually without success.

                Finally, we installed the program into the administrator account for all users. It worked in the administrator section but I can still not use it for my account which is necessary.

                Any ideas?

                  Bitte versuchen Sie nochmal, das Programm zu aktivieren:

                  In Outlook 2010 bitte gehen Sie zu Datei-> Optionen-> wählen Sie “Add-Ins”, dann wählen Sie unten bei «Verwalten» erst Deaktivierte Elemente aus dem drop-down Menü-> “Gehe zu”.
                  Es öffnet sich ein kleines Fenster mit den “Deaktivierten Elementen”. Darin wählen Sie das Add-In und klicken auf “Aktivieren”.
                  Dann gehen Sie zu “COM Add-Ins” – und aktivieren das Programm dort auch.

                  Wenn das Programm unter Deaktivierten Elementen nicht erscheint – gehen Sie bitte direkt zu den COM Add-Ins, schalten das Programm aus, dann gehen zurück – und schalten es ein.

                    Vielen, lieben Dank für die Beschreibung!!! Es funktioniert 🙂

                    Der Fehler lag daran, dass wir in Word nicht im Dropdown-Menue den Punkt deaktivierte Elemente gesehen hatten.
